MISC:Hawaii, the "Aloha State", was the 50th state to be admitted to
the USA and is the only US State without borders. It is composed of
more than 20 islands, formerly known as Sandwich Islands. The world's
largest active volcanic crater is Kilauea in Hawaii's Volcano National
Park. The wettest spot on earth is on Kauai Island-450 inches of rain a
year! The earth's tallest mountain (when measured from its base on the
sea floor), is Mauna Kea. The largest singly owned ranch in the world is
Parker Ranch-225,000 acres. There is only one navigable river in all
of Hawaii. 3/4 of the world's pineapples and 80% of the world's
macadamia nuts are grown in Hawaii. Abundant sunshine, and usual
absence of tropical storms give Hawaii one of the world's best
